Playmakers Foundation Announces New Board Members to Guide Next Chapter of Community Impact

Okemos, MI — The Playmakers Foundation (PF) is proud to announce the appointment of nine new members to its Board of Directors. These respected community leaders bring diverse professional expertise, deep local roots, and a shared passion for service that will help guide the Foundation into its next chapter of impact across mid-Michigan. The nine new members will join current board member Brian Jones.
The newly appointed board members are:
- Bianca Guess - Director of Fitness & Wellness Programming, Michigan State University
- Andrew Kilpatrick - Public Service Director, City of Lansing
- Lauren LaPine-Ray, DrPH, MPH - Vice President - Policy & Rural Health, Michigan Health & Hospital Association
- Meghan Ziehmer, STS, CTA - Executive Director, Lansing Sports Commission
- Gerry Myers - Former CEO, Crim Fitness Foundation
- Dylan Marinez - Associate Athletic Director - Capital Projects & Facilities, Michigan State University
- Sandy Selby, RD, CSSD - Senior Manager - Nutrition Outreach, United Dairy Industry of Michigan
- Andy Marsh - Owner, Playmakers
- Lindsey Mulder - Owner, Playmakers
“These new board members have already demonstrated a deep commitment to the health and wellness of our community through both their professional work and personal efforts,” said Executive Director Joe Dimambro. “Each of them brings meaningful relationships, unique expertise, and a shared belief in the power of movement to change lives. As we enter this next phase of the Foundation’s growth, we are excited about the connections they will foster, the collaboration they will inspire, and the thoughtful leadership they will provide to help us expand our impact across mid-Michigan.”
As the Foundation continues to expand its programming and outreach, the Board of Directors will play a crucial role in strategic planning, resource development, and stewardship of the Foundation’s mission. Together, they will help shape innovative initiatives that remove barriers to movement and create welcoming spaces where individuals and families can build lifelong healthy habits.
The Playmakers Foundation looks forward to the vision and energy this new board will bring as it deepens its impact and strengthens its commitment to serving the mid-Michigan community.
