Kevin Smith of Gaylord (54:02), Morsi Rayyan of St. Johns (54:38) and Devin Lea of Grand Ledge (54:42) were the top three male finishers and Sara Lunning of Lansing (1:09:56), Sarah Sandborn of Portland (1:11:05) and Kristen Eichorn of East Lansing (1:12:05) the top three female finishers in the 10-mile. The 10-mile was part of the Playmakers Greater Lansing Race Series for the first time this year. Overall winners in the non-race series 5K were Alex Salemi of St. Johns (16:46) and Emily Johnston of Lansing (19:38).
The photo to the right of 88-year-old Mignon Emmert of Louisville finishing the 5K on her birthday was taken by Ike Lea.
Photos were also taken at the Aug. 8 Lansing Legislator Triathlon/Duathlon by Dane Robison of Time Frame Photography and at the Aug. 14 Board of Water and Light Hometown Power 5K by Dane Robison of Time Frame Photography.
