Coach Ann
Ann is an avid cyclist who started running five years ago. She has run distances from 5K to an ultra marathon. Her preferred distance is the half marathon, of which she has completed seventeen. She dabbles in tris and prefers to spend summer months on a bike.
She's completed three marathons and one ultra (50K) - which now may be her favorite distance.
She maintains her 'day job' as a financial aid director for a private college and is Mom to one son, Alex, who also runs a bit as well.
Coach Hannah
Hannah started working at Playmakers in July. Growing up in Okemos and attending MSU she was an avid soccer player. She started her running career in earnest this summer and has a passion for health and fitness.
Hannah has embraced the Good Form Running/Walking concept and is our GFR/GFW guru. She'll be working with us all on perfecting our form.
Coach Judy
Judy has been physically active all her life but is a late in life runner.
She joined Team Playmakers in 2004 and trained and accomplished her first half marathon in 2005. She was a coach and liaison for the Girls on the Run program at Willow Elementary School. She also was the Mileage Club coach.
Judy recently retired from teaching and is delighted to become more involved in Team Playmakers. She looks forward to inspiring and being inspired by the members of this fantastic group.
Coach Lynn
Lynn took up running in 2007 as a way to shed some extra pounds. He became hooked and has done almost every distance from 5Ks to marathons.
Lynn believes Good Form Running has helped him run more efficiently and injury free. He has been active with Team Playmakers since the summer of 2008.

Coach Michelle
Michelle has been a member of Team Playmakers for 5 years. She started running to lose weight from having her daughter and was hooked. She's completed two full marathons and several half marathon, 10K, 5Ks She recently started a business for race directing called Avail Solutions She has two girls, 15 and 5 and enjoys biking. Unfortunately, swimming scares the *bleep* out of her so tris are out of the question!
Michelle loves finding out why people run and what their goals are as they vary so much. She's inspired by a line from a song: "In the end the only steps that matter are the ones you take all by yourself."
Coach Mike
Mike ran cross country and track in high school and into early adulthood. Her returned to running eight years ago an became a Team Playmakers member four years later. He is also an active cyclist and community volunteer plus has lots of great advice and running/life knowledge
Coach Ray
A native Detroiter, Ray, became an active runner when he moved to Seattle in 1978 and became part of the first 'running boom'. He has been back in Michigan awhile and has been a team member since 2005.
In 2010 Ray was a team leaders for the Tri Team. He's competed in sprint and Olympic distance tris.
He's competed in running races from the 5K to the marathon.
Ray is also an accomplished swimmer and has competed in lake swim events from one to five miles. Including crossing the Straits of Mackinaw.
