Welcome to the Community Partners in Health 2008 Winter Warm-Up! Our FREE and FUN community-wide walking program for the Greater Lansing Area is designed to improve your health and fitness. New this year, we are presenting the first ever “Mayor’s Challenge” a walking competition between local elected officials, sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Come walk with us and support your community’s leader!

• Invite your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to walk with you for 10 weeks starting Saturday, January 12, 2008 through March 15, 2008, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Lansing Mall.
  
• See the Calendar of Events for details of Saturday activities.
  
• Register by completing the form on the second page and e-mailing it to Alicia@playmakers.com, dropping it off at Playmakers or at the Lansing Mall Guest Services Desk, faxing it to Playmakers at (517) 349-8627, mailing it to Alicia Armstrong, Playmakers, 2299 W. Grand River Ave., Okemos, MI 48864, or by completing the form at the Winter Warm-Up kick-off on Jan. 12 in the Lansing Mall.
  
• Each week, participants will receive program updates, healthy tips, and encouragement.
  
• Walk at least 8 of the 10 weeks between January 12 - March 15, 2008, sign-in at the Lansing Mall on Saturday mornings and you will be entered into the grand prize drawing on March 15, 2008.
  
• Grand Prizes (ONLY eligible if you signed-in and walked 8 of the 10 Saturdays from January 12 - March 15, 2008): $150 Lansing Mall gift certificate, 3-month YMCA family membership, 1-month Michigan Athletic Club membership. Other prizes will be awarded.
